After several sessions of decline, the BRVM is catching its breath and sketching a rebound. The three main indices return to green: the BRVM-Composite gains 0,33 % to 521,99 points, the BRVM-30 rises by 0,33 % to 252,87 points, and the BRVM-Prestige advances by 0,35 % to 193,50 points.
This recovery, still measured, interrupts the bearish movement of the recent sessions and offers a respite to the listing. On the field of individual performances, Sucrivoire leads the dance.
After five consecutive sessions of decline, the stock rebounds by 6,98 % to 2 300 FCFA and takes the top spot in the ranking of gainers. Erium follows suit with an increase of 5,59 % to 1 700 FCFA, while Bernabé completes the leading trio by gaining 4,07 % to 1 790 FCFA.
The upturn remains, however, uneven. Tractafric Motors CI records the steepest decline of the session, falling by 7,47 % to 3 840 FCFA.
LNB Bénin loses 2,38 % to 3 900 FCFA, while SETAO CI yields 2,03 % to 1 935 FCFA. These pullbacks temper the prevailing optimism: the return to green of the indices is not enough to dissipate the pressures that continue to weigh on certain securities.
Another significant event of the day, Orange Côte d'Ivoire strengthens its market capitalization by 28,62 billion FCFA. This gain contributes significantly to the overall valuation of the market and accompanies the recovery movement of the indices.
After the losses recorded during the previous sessions, this development constitutes additional support for the rebound of the listing. Trading remains, once again, largely dominated by Sonatel.
With 944,83 million FCFA traded, the security accounts for 48,97 % of the 1,93 billion FCFA exchanged on the entire market. Nearly half of the mobilized capital was thus focused on this single security, which establishes itself as the main hub of activity for the session.
