Edmond Koukou Adjikpè, new Managing Director of NSIA Banque Bénin. The Beninese subsidiary of the NSIA group entrusts its general management to Edmond Koukou Adjikpè, who took office on October 1, 2026, and reappoints Nina-Armelle Vignon Guendehou as Deputy Managing Director.
A governance structure that focuses on the complementarity between business development and risk management. NSIA Banque Bénin reorganizes its management around a general management team with two complementary profiles.
The institution announced the assumption of office of Edmond Koukou Adjikpè as Managing Director as of October 1, 2026, as well as the renewal of Nina-Armelle Vignon Guendehou's term as Deputy Managing Director. This configuration is intended to allow the bank to combine two priorities: accelerating its commercial development and strengthening its risk management.
Edmond Koukou Adjikpè brings more than twenty-two years of experience in the banking and financial sectors as well as in development finance. His expertise notably covers financing, business development, and the structuring of partnerships and complex operations.
Alongside him, Nina-Armelle Vignon Guendehou has over twenty-three years of experience, primarily in risk management, audit, internal control, and banking governance. Her reappointment is intended to ensure continuity in the prudential and operational oversight of the institution.
The choice of this pair responds to the main challenges facing banks in the sub-region. These institutions must increase their contribution to the financing of the economy while maintaining rigorous management of their commitments, in an environment marked by evolving regulatory requirements, the digitalization of financial services, and the transformation of the needs of businesses and individuals.
Nina-Armelle Vignon Guendehou reappointed as Deputy Managing Director. The new organization thus associates an orientation toward business growth with in-depth expertise in control mechanisms.
For NSIA Banque Bénin, the challenge will be, in particular, to expand its financing, strengthen its proximity to its clients and partners, and improve its operational performance, without relaxing its governance and risk management requirements. The group also presents these appointments as an expression of its commitment to valuing local skills and African expertise.
Both leaders possess knowledge of the Beninese market and experience acquired within pan-African financial institutions. Under their leadership, NSIA Banque Bénin intends to continue its development momentum and increase its contribution to the financing of the national economy.
The new general management will now have to translate this complementarity into results, both in the development of the bank's portfolio and in the quality of its assets, services, and governance. Published on 05/10/26 11:56.
