The Regional Securities Exchange continued its recovery trend this Monday, 28 September 2026, driven by a majority of stocks trending upward. The BRVM-Composite gained 0,86% to 545,41 points, while the BRVM-30 rose by 0,83% to 264,21 points.
The BRVM-Prestige gained 0,44% to 200,78 points. In total, 21 stocks finished in the green, against 17 decliners and 9 stable.
The growth in market capitalization was mainly supported by Sonatel Senegal, whose share price appreciated by 1,18% to 43 000 FCFA, generating nearly 50 billion FCFA in additional capitalization. The stock thus confirms its influence on the daily performance of the market.
At the top of the ranking, SAFCA CI and Bridge Bank Group Côte d'Ivoire each recorded a 7,44% increase, to 4 620 FCFA and 8 375 FCFA respectively. SETAO Côte d'Ivoire completes the top three with a gain of 7,43% to 2 240 FCFA.
Just behind, Bank Of Africa Niger surged 7,41% to 5 510 FCFA, the day after the publication of its first-half 2026 results. The bank notably reported a net profit up by 43% to 3,41 billion FCFA, strengthening interest in the stock.

On the downside, TotalEnergies Marketing Senegal posted the largest decline of the session, with a 4,61% drop to 3 620 FCFA. Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire shed 3,87% to 2 980 FCFA, while SOGB Côte d'Ivoire fell by 3,80% to 7 600 FCFA.
Regarding trading, Sonatel Senegal maintained the top position with 60,73% of the total transaction value. The market thus generated 4,44 billion FCFA in transactions during the session.
